Greenery Trend is Growing with Pantone’s Colour of the Year!

Pantone’s Colour of 2017 is inspired by nature.  This year, the colour that most reflects our current cultural climate is green!  “Greenery signifies beginnings: a fresh New Year; healthier food resolutions and growing vegetarian trends; grass and the outdoors during spring and summer.” (Forbes)  What’s sweeping the wedding scene is beautiful greenery pieces such as adding in botanical flowers and leaves to bouquets, gorgeous green center pieces on guest tables and even as simple as on guest chairs.  We’ve already seen greenery as a trend last year with Shannen and Mark’s December wedding, but with 2017 being the year of green, the trend has grown even more.

Some fun ways to incorporate the lush, green tones in your wedding would be to add garland to your table, decorate an arch, unique favor ideas such as succulents and even adding in a little green to your desserts.  It can even be as simple as having leaf graphics on your name cards or invitations to tie it all together. It doesn’t have to be all about green either.  Here are some of our favorite colour palettes from Pantone that not only embrace green but have many other gorgeous colours.
