I’m excited to share photos from Ariana & Stuart’s wedding taken by the talented team at Heaton Photography.
We were referred to Arianna and Stuart through past clients Stephanie and Jameson. I first met Arianna for a coffee the summer before her wedding and we instantly hit it off. I loved & respected her “tell it how it is” personality. Arianna and Stu had plans for a winter wedding and it was important to them to get married in a Catholic church. They decided to have their ceremony in downtown Vancouver at the Holy Rosary Cathedral. It was stunning!
Arianna is a teacher at Holy Cross in Surrey and she enlisted the help of her students on the day of and even had the choir perform at the ceremony. Ariana describes herself as an old soul and utilized many items from Bespoke to bring her vintage theme to life. From the vintage suitcases that rented, to the beautiful ballroom at the Vancouver Club and the fur shawls for her and her bridesmaids, Arianna incorporated a classic, vintage feel to her wedding day. She rented marquee letters and mercury votives and her centrepieces were vintage books with flowers and greenery. The beautiful ballroom at the Vancouver Club was the perfect venue to enhance this theme.
Arianna’s décor had burgundy accents and lots of greenery. Her cascading bouquet done by family friend Debbie Tortora was gorgeous. Even Arianna’s shoes were burgundy to match her theme.
One of my favourite personal touches she incorporated to her day was her favours. We placed white milked vases with carnations on this gorgeous mirrored table whose favourite flowers were carnations.
Congratulations again to Ariana & Stuart and special thanks to all the amazing vendors who helped make their day one to remember!
