Katie & Ryan’s Camp Howdy wedding was one I will always remember as there were so many unique details the couple added to their day which made it truly special!
The ceremony took place outside on the grass hill overlooking the breath taking view of the water and North Shore mountains. As amazing as the view was, the highlight of the ceremony had to be Katie’s grand entrance on a bright orange motorcycle with side car.
The cocktail reception included lawn games like bocce ball. While the guests played, Katie and Ryan took photos with family, including her “Bromaids” and then snuck off for some special photos down by the dock. This shot in the hammock is one of my favourites!
Dinner was a BBQ theme and Katie and Ryan provided guests these custom designed bibs that said “Marriage Is Messy” which a graphic of them and their favours at each place setting was home made BBQ rub. (which incase your wondering, we tried a few weeks ago on ribs and was delicious!)
During dinner, the speeches began and again another memory of Katie & Ryan’s wedding which I will never forget was her two oldest brothers busting out some rhymes about Katie. It was hilarious! I’m sure it can be found on YouTube somewhere.
After dinner, instead of a traditional cake, guests enjoyed pies and ice cream which were home made by a good friend. They had an amazing selection of flavours and looked almost too good to eat (almost!).
The night finished off with dancing and lots of laughter as they enjoyed the evening with family and friends. What a truly special day! Congratulations again Katie & Ryan! I feel so lucky to have been a small piece of your day!
